The phones good I like it, also it has a a gaming chip and is good all round!

Believe me, it's not because I think it's a crap phone. I just don't like the look of it.;)

True its my gripe as well, theres a designer that mailed me the pic couple months ago and I said no way that things ugly!!:o

Ye they released it anyhow, the blue ones nice.... But Ill decide when it in my hand!

All round it ok.

They have not been launched... but as far as our business agent say its going to be availible by the end of July to begining Aug. So I have put my name down on the short list. I will update if I get info on the price plan!!!

Tell him I said thats BS, It will launch in Europe in July!(maybe) then 3 months later it should be here, also not very cheap!

It took SE this long to even announce a 5MP phone? The (only) advantage SE had over Nokia is their cameras were good (and SE's are much better looking). But looks like Nokia is overtaking SE now in this department.

Or if the image sensor is minute, if the phones camera software is poor, or if you're taking pictures through a pin-prick size hole.
Don't forget the plastic lens.
In my experience, megapixels sell cameras. When at a camera store, most people don't ask about lens focal capabilities or light dispersion, only "how-veel megapicksels is dit?" It can be a Honshinau Picacrap; as long as its has 7.2 megapixels, the noobs will flock. Afterward they simply can't understand how a pro with his 3MP Nikon D1H could take a better picture than they can??

Lets not forget the K850 has QVGA@30fps which is TV quality video recording AND a Motion sensor with UI auto-rotate (aka iPhone). This will also be the first SE phone that has dual memory slots for M2 & microSD cards...

N95 > K850i
Someone is gonna shoot me if I keep doing this :D

SE ftw

Since the SE fans appear to be in the minority here, I am adding my two cents.

I am gagging for the K850i, and I will wait as long as it takes. I've been a Sony Ericsson fanboy since I first got my T610, and I've never looked back.

I love Piesang's "The Real Phone of the Future" signature, and I believe it too! But with God as my witness, I'd want one about as much as I'd want a swift kick in the nuts. The N95 is a great phone on paper, but it has zero appeal. It is bulky, ugly, and the sliding mechanism feels just as rickety as every other similarly-designed Nokia over the past few years. And don't even get me started on Symbian!

I couldn't give a toss about the 5MP camera on either phone, but I have no doubt that the K850i will be better than its Nokia counterparts, just as the K800, K750, K700 and T610 have been. With that said however, aside from the 5mp camera, these two phones aren't even competing on the same playing field in the first place, so why all the fuss?

I completely agree, my first SE was the T68i and will never ever go back to Nokia. The quoted battery life back then for the T68i beats the pants of the N95 battery now ! Thats got to tell you something...
