Hi
I'm a real beginner here, so please be gentle...[:I]
I've spoken to Telkom support and my ISP support, but everybody seems stumped. I also browsed this forum (not extensively I admit) but couldn't find any answers. If I didn't look hard enough, my apologies.
Downloading is cool, but I can't seem to upload anything bigger that 1kb! I've tried 3 different FTP programmes and 2 different email programs, all give the same problem... and yes, passive mode is off.
However, everything works fine on a dial-up.
I'm using an old computer and Windows 98, but surely this shouldn't make a difference? Is there a simple setting on my system that I'm missing... any ideas welcome... except the one about buying a new machine [
