This mobo is great but I noticed the northbridge heatsink gets rather hot during gaming. The rest of my PC is adequately cooled, so no problems there. Any1 has any solutions / stock cooling fans that work on the northbridge?
NB. My Zalman CNPS 9700 takes up quite a huge space inside, coming fairly close to the northbridge.

north bridge is always a problem, get a 40mm fan and some cool air blow around your case

wait till you get a 8800 and you'll see it get super hot

Thanx killa... was going 2 install a custom fan as a last resort ;) Maybe sum1 else out there has a similar setup with a solution...

Thanx but that cooler will definitely touch the zalman 9700 cpu cooler  .. may hav 2 find an old p2 proc fan...

Mebe try the Vantec Iceberg(copper one). I know a friend has one and he is very happy. He set the E6400 record with this chipset cooler. It is very quiet and performs well!

:D LINKY!
