yes, cheap crts look crap, cheep beer tastes crap and generally you get what you pay for. Nobody is arguing that point. But I am still saying that a crt is a more superior technology for displaying a picture correctly than an lcd. My points have been made above already.
Dont condemn the technology. You may be doing yourself an injustice.

And by the way, I look at lots of hi-res photos and on my new LCDs I can see details I was unable to see on the CRTs I had ... how do you explain that! The colour depth on LCD seems much better than that of CRT, although specification-wise they are the same!
