Go 2nd Bokke Team

Most of the games are won in about the last 10 minutes and we cannot play good rugby for that long. I hope we do well at the World Cup but to be honest I can already now say we will not win the World Cup.

Ja, agree with you here. Its a 80mins game.

Although, the boks' preparation is a little warped going into WC. I mean they've had to send the B team down under cause A team is knacked. Thats really kuk. I think the resting (rotation) should of started during super89, not now. The Boks still have a few games against namibia and i think somelese. I tihnk Jake only woke up during 2nd half of tri-nations, lol. He didnt plan properly.

Well, anyway, despite B teams and unrested players, they'll be there and there about. Remember the chokers (kiwis) have already peaked and dont stand a chance. They know that, so i'm sure a bit of good aussie physchology will play its way into the media during WC. lol at the Kiwis.

Australia - big time players
Kiwis - chokers
Poms - lol, they won it last time so they wont win again for 50 years
Frogs - could they last the distance? nope
Saffers - Dunno, with 80min games and not sure if bok team could last until finals without players needing a rest. lol
 
boodles have ever thought the reason we cant make 80 minutes is because the first team was tired and this rest will be exactly what they need

also in the world cup you have time to get used to the climate

i think jake white did an awesome thing although i didnt think so when i first heard it

SA first team is going to be so freakin powerful this i can tell you

Look, when you tour other countries, they have every right to get piissed when a b team is sent. Their are implications becuase of this.

If the players needed to be rested, then let them rest. Thats fine, it just wasnt done in the correct way. But, anyway, its done and dusted.

Perhaps next time their will be no 3N in a WC year.
 
boodles the super 14 had no problems with the nz players taking a long break

did it effect the super 14 in anyway?

if you look it, we nearly beat the aussies at one stage we where 17 0 up and if hogard had just kicked better the game might have been so much closer

we played 70 minutes against the all blacks being 12-6 down, we never looked we could score though and their end score was flattering

the 2nd did an amazing job and gave alot of experience to player who might never get a chance

so in all its worked out perfectly
 
Boks won 1 out of 4 games during 3N. And the game they won was won in the last few minutes.

So no it didnt work out perfectly.
 
No matter how well the b-side did they still lost but thats all behind us now.

If Jake White wants vindication all he has to do now is win the word cup. :)
 
so boodles you would rather win the tri nations and go into the world cup with some injuries and big players out?

i think not bud, the tri nations is small fry in the world cup year

it also gave jake a white a good look at who to bring with to the world cup and who to leave, he would have to basically guess who would stand up and be counted and a few players showed their stuff like cronje who otherwise would not have had a chance

we will see very soon the effects of this rest

I've repeatedly said here that resting players during the 3N is/was the wrong time to do it. That could of easily been done throughout the super14 - rotation/resting, whatever you want to call it.

I've also said many times that I dont care if the team i support doesnt win the 3N.
 
i think the super 14 would have been the worst time to do it, look at the super 14 final man when will we ever see SA teams perform this way again

its taken the super14 in this country to a new level

i would hate to see what the current currie cups team would do against the NZ AUS teams

get murdered comes to mind
 
Well done kiwis for winning the 3n. Your right on track for your chokers tag at the WC.
