Good Claw-grip Mouse Suggestion

Interesting, the one I lost today looked almost exactly like yours... we probably used the same mice from different branding. I know exactly what your mouse feels like, it has a very "flat" design which took me a while to get used to but I loved it once I got used to it.

Feels pretty damn good so far, not bad for R299.
They had another cougar mouse that was almost R600, so I'm assuming it's not exactly the cheapest brand. I don't need the higher DPI on the more expensive mouse though. Not sure if it had the same 3050 Optical sensor as this one though.
(P.S. I was surprised to see a R1500 Razer mouse at our tiny Matrix Warehouse, interesting, not gonna happen though)

It feels really good in the hands, claw grip and flat hand, so it's not too big coming from smaller mice like the MS mouse.
The button clicks require very little pressure which I love and they feel like really high quality, I guess that's why they keep punting the "Omrom Micro Switches" on the marketing material.

The underside has two of those big flat slippery panels front and rear for sliding on a surface, which I think is better than the usual four little standoffs on my other mouse (that's always getting crud stuck on one or two of them which has to be picked off using a fingernail). At least now if it gets cruddy the resistance increase on the underside of the mouse should be more gradual and linear.

The orange light can't change color. But I don't care. All things LED should die in my opinion.
It's heavier than my Microsoft mouse (about 1.5-1.8x) but it feels a bit better in the hand because of it and it doesn't feel like it's fighting the cable as much as a lighter mouse does. My MS mouse was maybe a bit too light, I realize that now.

The sides aren't rubberized, just a pattern grip in the plastic but I don't see that as an issue, unless maybe you don't wash your hands after fapping.

The optical sensor so far is as smooth as butter on the light desk surface in the picture. The MS mouse sometimes felt like it was a little jerky if the pattern underneath the mouse was on a weird part of the desk pattern.

It has four DPI settings, number two and three feels best (1500 & 2000DPI).

Two sides buttons, but I've never really gotten used to using side buttons. They feel nice though, I might have to start programming them properly and using them.

The side buttons are quite handy in games and also DPI switching if supported, I bind one to alt+tab to switch windows quickly and the other is a right button toggle for FPS games.

The pads you speak of, the mouse I have at home has 4 massive one's which I prefer to the tiny one's as that's one of those things I'm obsessed with permanently cleaning for some reason.

I like your 'toys' on the desk. Nice keyboard.

I only use the side buttons to change the DPI between when doing work, gaming and renderings. Nice review.

Those "toys" are probably the reason I'm trying to do PC upgrades so cheaply these days... they're worth more than my bloody car, the one that drives me to work that is...

Didn't even want to post my mouse-grip photo earlier 'cause it looked like my hand was mauled by a Tiger this weekend.

(Protip: Don't ever try to test drive-shaft balancing on a 100KPH+ RC car by holding it in the air with your hand, you will lose some weight when those wheels expand)

I always wanted a RC car, plane or helicopter, but they very $$$$$. Have a small track here where the guys do races now and then, fun to watch. Would be cool to see a dirt race.

DONT DO IT.
Trust me on this. I always wanted to built a quad and get into FPV flying...
But first I thought I'd just buy a cheap RC car first to see what it's like since it's a more accessible hobby for where I live.

Let me put it this way:
It's now just over a year later and I have about 5 cupboards and a few crates full of parts. God only knows what it's all worth. My flat is basically a fire hazard just waiting to go up in glorious fashion when an old LiPo battery finally gives up the ghost. When some douchebag broke in last year and stole all R14K worth of PC screens I had, the first thing I did was check to see if my small collection of hex-screws etc. was OK, because they're worth more in time, energy and need than any of the other tech stuff I have.
It's a bloody disease.
