Hey guys, a friend of mine got a new phone but don't have internet and have no clue as to what to tell the operator to set up their MMS.

So is there anyway (like on their website) I could send settings to their number?

Any help would be appreciated... (I'm on MTN)

If it's a Nokia, then yes, there is a way I used recently to help a friend get the settings: www.nokia.co.uk was the most useful of the Nokia sites.

If not, then your friend could try calling 111 using the # call-back option to avoid having to hold indefinitely, otherwise there might be something on www.vodacom4me.co.za

Try dialing *111# from the phone ... you can (among other things) have the settings sent to the device over the air.

If it's something like an iMate then the settings are too large to send over the air, and have to be loaded another way. In the case of iMates you can go to http://www.leaf.co.za/ and download them.

If you go on to the http://www.vodacom4me.co.za website you can send the MMS settings to your phone. Make sure the sim card number that you log in to vodacom4me site is in the phone you wish to set up. Log in and then on the main menu, go to "My Devices" and then "Setup my Phone" - choose your phone make and model and the settings will be sent to the phone.
