Tired of vice city and cant wait for San Adreas PC?

been using it for a while
pretty cool.
extra island sucks big though...but the harrier jet makes up for it ;)
 
the new island is pretty s**t, have u been to the top of the world trade center? you can shoot bin laden and saddam! where is the harrier?
 
If it's the one I think it is, I gave it a try.

It doesn't feel right somehow - I much prefer the "fictional" cars and the way they handle.
Also, some of the models are dodgy - the skins of the 3D models sometimes aren't exact, so you get "sparklies" along the seams - little white dots.

I've been replaying the original from scratch - almost complete - currently playing "The Driver" mission - man, that's a fscking hard one to beat. So many times I've almost got back to the Malibu when a cop car slams into my side !
I'm considering finding a rocket launcher and blowing the other car away !

I will draw the line at trying to find all the hidden packages though - you have to be seriously dedicated or a little bit nuts to try and find all of those. Far more fun searching for obscure ramps, or getting a serious wanted level - 4 stars - and seeing how long you can last ! :D

I read somewhere that someone managed to get a helicopter into a garage and it messed their save game up, so I tried it in all the garages in the game and cannot imagine how the fsck they got a helicopter into any of the garages - unless they spent 30 minutes slowly pushing a helicopter in ?
 
for the driver mission park a motorbike at the first intersection before the race, during the race quicky swap vehicles and you will easily catch up and pass him.

odd never effected me. i know they brought out a few versions though so maybe a bug in an old version :/

btw if you looking for a hold over there is Driv3r, which is a GTA rip off of note. problem is it is a straight PS2 port so graphics aren't great, and interface is generally the worst possible...good story though
 
jeez we had serious fun with the multiplayer at work...even got my boss into it.
too bad it was soo buggy, invisible vehicles, vehicles some could see and others not etc..

Fsck that - it's supposed to be released in the UK on the 10th of June, if it only gets here on July 1st, that's bollocks.

Megarom are on the ball with their release dates, matching that of the UK, but this release is by Ster Kinekor as far as I know - I just hope they are up to speed like Megarom are, otherwise I'll just order it online.

Check it - out says June 10 on Amazon and that's the date I read in a recent interview from the horses mouth, so to speak.

My bet is we'll either see it by this Saturday, or during the following week.

It's the same as with DVD's and movies....and then they wonder why pirate things...I mean if you treat people like children and try to prevent them seeing something, they will act like children and really want to see it and thus pirate it.
