Hamachi aquired by LogMeIn

Anyone here used this? I've looked at it a couple of times but haven't actually tried it out.

Now may be an excellent time to download a copy at any rate.

Hamachi is real awesome ... you can get it at www.hamachi.cc ... It connects straight through firewalls. A very cool solution for a small VPN and with almost no hassle.

I'm thrilled with this news since I've been using both logmein and hamachi for some time now. They're both excellent pieces of software; PeekNPoke hit the nail on the head when he said theres no hassle involved.

Also according to the official Hamachi forums Hamachi is definitely going to remain free
