Hey all

Ok I FINALLY have my EU WoW account but only have the US version of the client. Was told in the local IRC channels that it wasn't a problem to convert the US version to work with EU servers. Now it turns out that is not the case and the EU servers don't want to even know I exist when I try to log on.

PLEASE tell me that there is a way to convert the US version so it can be used on the EU servers. Otherwise does ANYBODY in the Cape Town area have the EU verison of WoW ... I desperatly need to copy it.

Its sorted, never mind.

Can anybody give me the names of good EU PvM realms that get decent pings. The one I'm currently on gets an 800ms ping .. although it is consistent and I don't seem to pick it up when killing critters.

edited the realmlist.wtf file ?

Had to upgrade first to the latest version on the US realmlist setting (basically fill in wrong log-in info till it stopped upgrading).

Then changed the realmlist.wtf to eu.(whatever) from us.(whatever). After that it connected fine with no problems.

Still get US warning messages for realms going down but other than that works 100%.
