HDR Photography - HOW?!

RAW is better because you have that much more data to work with. If you think about it you can generally recover ±1 stop from a single raw file even without bracketing exposures.

I've had some passable success with making 3 exposures from a single raw file - especially handy when there are fast moving objects or when you are shooting handheld.

I've just seen the Nikon D3000 and D3100 don't offer AEB ... strange!

During the rugby test of SA vs All blacks last year, they did the HDR shoot in halftime.

The guy used a 5Dmk2 and a 70 - 200 2.8 IS. So you can probably do it with any camera then?
