I just bought 3G broadband(the USB connection) last friday. It works perfect on my neighbours pc which is a new windows xp and it wont work on my own pc which is also windows xp. The installation goes fine and it works right up until it needs to connect. It dials but when it trys to connect it says pick up the hand set and dial *99# but how do i do that and why do i have to it never requires that on my neighbours pc. I tried to continue but then it said connection failed because of invalid modem. So i tried my 3G modem on my neighbours pc and it worked fine. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem?
