HELP? Need to reflash Imate with standard OS

Im currently running Schaps, but I need to send my phone back to Imate, any ideas how to re-install the standard WM5 OS????

Ive downloaded the install file from the website, ive followed the instructions, then it reboots my phone and the sync gets lost and the update cant be done... what am i doing wrong?

All help most appreciated!

What file have you downloaded ??? where are you downloading it to ???
What sync gets lost ???
 
I downloaded the latest release of WM5 for the imate from www.imate.co.za

When I do the install, it tells you to make sure you have everything connected etc which I do!

When the install starts it reboots my phone to that red/green/blue screen and then the sync gets dropped and the host pc cant connect to the phone!

I just want to make my phone standard again... and im sikklin!

Did you have to change anything special when you installed Schaps ??? i am not a big Fan of home brewed ROM's .. i have been involved with Flashers anonymous for a couple of years now .
some of the custom ROM's require some modification to the bootloader. double check that from the source.
 
Well I changed the bootloader to one that did not brick the phone... not sure of the version, but it was the latest one

any other here that can shed some help?
