Hope someone can help. I've loaded VNC Server on a PC in the office and managed to setup the ADSL router (a Telkom Mega 100WR) and can get into the PC at the office using VNC Viewer port 5900 throuigh dial-up but is unable to get into it through my ADSL at home where I use a Telkom ADSL Premium Combo.

I don't understand why dial-up works and not ADSL? When I try to connect through ADSL, it gives error "unable to connect: Conection refused (10061)" Please can anyone help?

Since it works through dial up, it cant be a software firewall thats blocking. So it has to be the firewall on your router, to fix this you need to forward the ports, try www.portforward.com. It should help

I have setup port forwarding and is why I can get in through dial-up. Port 5900. When I connect to the internet through dial-up from anywhere, I can get into the office PC but not when I try to connect from home through ADSL. I don't understand why it would be different to get in?
