depends for me, I vary between, dont give a shiit, and give me my stuff NOW, wildly a few min apart.
generally though, it all depends on my mood that day. hard to read people like me, its all about how I woke up that day.

Me and my wife want to buy a car,we are married,so our salaries are not enough for one to buy,but if we bring along both payslip we can manage

I'm from the older generation when there wasn't any prizes for participation or soppy well done you tried etc. You either win or you don't get a mention.
The good old days when parents could just leave their weaker children out to die. Those were the days. None of this soppy nonsense of having to keep them all alive until adulthood.

If you are running a business, unless you get off your behind and become pro-active, you will never make it

Had a friend who opened an office supplies business. He complained after 3 months that no-one had bought anything. I told him to employ a motivated sales person. After a few aborted attempts, he got a fellow who worked for Coca-Cola. This fellow was amazing and in a year, he was doing R1m a month turnover

But know your limits and adjust your expectancy to your capabilities.
I believe it was most often first, second and third. Nothing counted after that.

Chris I love your tales. They motivate me. I hope they all true

I've always been one to lurk around the peripheral of society - watching and waiting.
When the time is right, swoop in, flying under the radar and thru the back door to snatch the spoils.
No need to compete when others are distracted and looking in the wrong direction.
