How MultiChoice's big bet on Showmax is doing

If their finances are so dire, then why not STOP paying for un-needed subs here. It's wasteful. Most of us know MonoChoice's true colours and do not waste our hard-earned cash on that shyte.
Oh wait.. MonoChoice.... Naspers.... Media24.... that mentality of propping up loss-making things because of anti-competitive attitude

i actually think showmax's content is quite decent...think its one of the better offerings at the price point...and the mobile soccer is at a good price point at the moment...i think that it will forever be tainted by the MC public opinion aids...

Problem with mobile soccer is, well it is small, and thus not watchable. A tablet might make it usable, but I am not going to get a tablet to check. My 14 inch laptop is about as small as I am comfortable working with.

So I will pass

some numbnuts was on talk radio yesterday representing the DSTV view of the world, went on about how you wouldn't drive a car off the showroom floor that you didn't pay for so piracy is as much theft as that

Yeah, proves once again how MonoChoice are on their own little planet with PW Botha and the calendar doesn't change from September 1987... Meanwhile, out on planet Earth, there's internet, FTTH, streaming, and the high seas

Also, DSTV's prospective clients are no where near as stupid as DSTV thinks they are.
