How to use mweb news server?

Anyone else having trouble with the Mweb news server yesterday. It seemed to be on and off on my side, sometimes it connects, other times it doesn't. I am using Altbinz and connecting to news.mweb.co.za:119.

Would someone please also post the list of dns addresses please?

Please help. I've tried setting up grabit on a new PC but it prompts me for username and password and I cannot leave it blank. I'm using mweb news server. Any ideas?

Doesn't it have an anonymous option? Make sure to use port 119.
If Grabit doesn't have that anonymous option any more, then just use Alt.Binz instead.

It needs host name and profile name and port 119, no usernames or passwords are needed.
This have been reported in a couple of threads the last month or so, but seems to sort it self out after a while.

Ill try again later, but it forces me to username and password. I get an error message if I click next without entering anything

does it make a difference with the DNS settings as I am running through unblock-us so I can watch Netflix?

yes. I just hopped off my netflix / unotelly DNS and back onto 'Obtain DNS automatically' and now my news server is working again (Mweb).
