How will prepaid data bundles work exactly?

Hi

I'm currently connecting to the net using dialup at home and I'm quite sick of it now. I really want to get HSDPA but with NO CONTRACTS of any sort attatched. I know these types of questions have been asked and answered lots of times on the forums but I'm too lazy to sift through all of it to find find the answers I'm looking for . What I ideally would like to do is buy the HSDPA card once-off no strings attatched and then just buy more gigs as I need them. Is this how prepaid bundles are gonna work or am I missing a catch?
Sorry I know this is a really lame noob question but the prospect of surfing at >1Mb speeds make me drool and I need to understand how these bundles will work..

Hi feo,
There is no info on how the prepaid bundles are going to work (from 1 June) yet. You can buy the card cash yes, but you could consider a 4U contract as its subscription is zero. There's no penalties for cancellation. You can add databundles onto the 4U.

From June 1 Vodacom will make a distinction between data used on HSPDA and GPRS/EDGE/3G - HSDPA prices will remain the same, but if you use GPRS/EDGE/3G you will pay 20% less from June 1.
