HSDPA auto re-dial

Hi all, I called 155 to ask if if it was possible to set my HSDPA card to re-dial if the session was dropped. The response was "no" use GPRS and you will not have a problem. This does not make sense to me. Basically the card is a modem so normal modem functions should work. Your Thoughts.

If you go to your Network Connections folder, right click on your connection and select properties. Click on the options tab and check the 'redial if line is dropped' checkbox. Set your redial attempts to about 20 and the time between redial attemps to 1 second. Click ok.

When the line drops, it should redial immediately.
