Bought this HTC from the MyADSL classifieds, and WOW am I impressed.
My last windows mobile phone was an imate k-jam. I hated the thing. It was slow, unresponsive, bad cellphone signal and sound quality and a general hassle to use. One thing I could never get over is how much it vibrated on silent.
I've been playing with this HTC S620 the whole day. The form factor is like a blackberry, but it just works so well. The numbers are there, the letters are there. I've come from a P990i and M600i (Sony Ericsson) and this little HTC is so much more functional WITHOUT THE TOUCH SCREEN! I can't believe it! The phone is slim, so it just fits perfectly into my pocket...and it took me minutes to get used to the WM5 framework and find all the settings I need - very intuitive. The Wifi works much better than my P990i's ever did, and the only shortcoming the phone has is a lack of 3G - which doesn't really matter seeing as I only use the phones Internet connection on the phone (not connected to a laptop) and EDGE is fast enough. I haven't noticed the drop in speed.
I have the phone set up with my exchange server, so dealing with emails and contacts and the like is an absolute breeze. Apart from that, synchronizing and using the WM phone with windows is an absolute pleasure, it's almost seemless. I also popped in a MicroSD card (1GB) which I might add is much cheaper than a Memory stick duo or micro!
Basically, all I can say is the phone is great. I'm officially a Windows Mobile convert. Probably will upgrade to WM6 next month when Leaf releases it! I was going to get the S710, but this phone just suits me down to the ground...it's size, form and everything.
