I primarily use a console for gaming so don't have to care for any of that.

I see this reply went MIA...

I did get a console for the ease of use of just plug and play (years ago) which was nice until it wasn't. Nowadays I do miss that.

Well I was a PC gamer till 2020... GPU prices went fubar and it was cheaper to get a Series X + PS5 than a back then, 3080

Couch gaming got so lekka that its now the norm for me.

That's around the time I went back to it, built a machine in 2019 and updated it throughout till last year. I bought a Series X in 2020 around launch and yeah dust it off now and again, looked at the PS5 and saw it would probably get even less usage then the Series X.
