Have just read this report which was published today on the ICASA website. Would like to say that the myADSL contributions were of great value in the efforts to get Telkom to behave a little more in line with international norms. well done guys - but I fear the battle ain't over yet.

a hearty welcome to MyADSL. its great to have you on board.

The battle will not be over until we have better competition. The SNO in my opinion is NOT enough...

The findings are just bringing a ballance to a competitionless environment...

Welcome.
Also no good getting a SNO if they turn out to be anything like Cell C is to the mobile market. To weak to compete, so they just tow the line. Voda and MTN dont even flinch. Fat lot of good that did anyone.
Lets hope that the SNO packs more of a punch.

i agree with you sneeky, the thing is tho there are 3 opperators, at the prices they are charging they must be making a killing, for proof that they are look at vodacoms year end results. There are 3 opperators, 2 main opperators that fully stand on their own feet, look at their prices, they are horrible but there is compitision, i dunno if any1 else gets my theory.

With the SNO im just hoping for the best possible!

How much of the cell companies revenue goes toward paying Telkom for the use of their lines, if it is a substantial amount, then our focus should shift to Telkom.

My thanks also to all the members who gave such valuable input to the report. I do hope your efforts will bear much fruit.
