I think they are the same just been updated to Run on XP/Vista along with thier Freinds system I think its all the same!

Steam has done nothing more than make my life difficult and make me want to pirate their ****!!!!!

Yes I have a big bugbear about steam. I think that in SA something like 75% of original HL2 owners had to still get the pirate version FFS!!. Me included. However maybe the finger should be pointed at you all know who, for the bandwidth prices etc!!
