Idle ISDN Connection

I hhad a problem when I was ISDN where I just wouldn't get to any international sites all of a sudden, but local sites seemed to be fine. I called my IPS which was Xsinet to ask if their was a problem. They accused me of having a virus on my pc. I was so pissed that I cancelled with them the next day. How the hell can a virus cause that?

Anyway, I'm with UniNet now until ADSL port shaping, pricing and caps get sorted.
 
Get yourself an Interprise/IS account 128K @ R209.00 p/m, 3com USR ISDN pro TA. I've never had disconnects since getting isdn, about 3 years. I'll probably stick with isdn untill we get something better, in my experience it's ultra reliable, consistant and relatively fast. And of course no download limits. Telkom's so called "broadband" rip offs wouldn't last me 4 days a month with their cap limits. Isdn costs more, but hey who needs all the other aggravation.
