In what order are data bundles consumed?

Next time buy the 365 day bundles, then you will be thankful for the way the bundle prioritization works.

Cell-C have a 3GB bundle valid for 365 days for R399. Last time I checked, this bundle was still not available by USSD you have to go into a store to get it. It is the perfect companion for a recurring data bundle. If you finish your monthly allocation of data early, the 3GB/365 bundle starts being used. At start of the new month, you get your new monthly allocation and it gets used, leaving your 3GB/365 until the next time you finish your monthly allocation early.
 
They merged my thread into this one a while later so I never saw the "first post".

Thanks for clarifying. Still doesn't offer me much solace, though.
 
Can anyone tell me how to add a 3GB for 365days data bundle onto a 3GB for 365days data SIM (which is just about to run out of data) and I presume the new 3GB bundle will start counting for 365 days or will it expire when the original 3GB data would have expired?

Go to a Cell-C store and purchase a 3GB/365 day bundle. You receive a printed top up voucher. Now enter *102*<voucher number># on your device to load the 3GB/365 day bundle.
 
Does that rule also apply to prepaid Giga Nite data? Any bundle I have lpurchased will be consumed first before the midnight data? Isn't it supposed to switch?
