invalid game assets??

I am playing F.E.A.R. combat, and I can never play some of the maps online, like facility, labs and a few others.......Loading for such maps is faster than other maps and at the end will just pop back to the server list screen with a pop up window 'invalid game assets'.
Search on internet and some posts rekon it's a securom problem.......but I can't find the folder so can not rename it and it only happens on some maps, and somehow I manage to play one of these 'faulty' maps last night by exit the game and re-start program.
Any clue what's causing this and how to sort it out? Same installation file, no problem at my friend's pc........

Cyber, is it a legal copy of F.E.A.R?

Yes, F.E.A.R combat is a free online FPS MP. Answer a couple questions and they send you a serial www.joinfear.com

And I do have a geniune F.E.A.R. which was a birthday gift last year.

Don't need to have F.E.A.R installed to play combat, they are independent from each other.
