iPhone why aren't calls auto routed to bluetooth when connected to a bluetooth device?

Which is exactly how you spot the Android users.

All their notifications go through to the Bluetooth speaker at every party.

I wonder in the last 10 years if I’ve answered more phone calls in my car, or had phone calls through a Bluetooth speaker at a party?

I got my first call listening to YouTube on some cheap earphones without a microphone.

It obviously defaults to the headset - but it doesn’t help if you have multiple Bluetooth devices. So that setting doesn’t work well.

I’m going to change it back and hope it’s got something to do with the way it’s answered in the car
