ipod vs noname mp3 players

You get a 30gig creative MP3 play that is very cheap. Around R1800.

It doesnt look quite as nice as the Ipod, but it is MUCH better value for money. Ipods are nice, but just overhyped and Mac knows this so they over price them a bit too. You get other expensive ones that are also possibly better.

The noname stuff you talk about is small size and really bad quality rather dont waste your money. A rechargable battery is also a must.

I had an ipod and switched to a Sony network walkman last year and am more than happy with it 20gig with an accelerometer built in so as soon as it falls the disk parks battery life is amazing 20 hrs +. It has a sold feel and the playback quality rocks. Aslo if you use the ipod as a external disk you have to format it after or it wont play music that part sucked.
