IS 24 hour disconnect absent?

Has been like that for like 2 months already prior the adsl changes in Nov after Icasa meeting.

I'm aware that Telkom Internet wasn't resetting for a few months (not all SAIX resellers though), but I wasn't aware of IS doing this :)
 
I have read that this is a big issue but what is actually the problem with resets? It has never interrupted a download of mine. Is it a problem for gamers or what? Just interested.
