is iburst using a cellular frequency?

good to hear that you guys are still living fine after being exposed to such signals... after doing more investigation i found that alot of these findings are simply inconclusive which for now puts me at ease...

there goes my idea of buying 50 cellphones and making the death ray available on death star...

ah well... if you had 1.7Gb cap left what would you download?

Kei -- how can you say "I doubt that ?"
When you used the word "small" I presumed it was home-made or something you were tinkering with at home. Sorry.

I have only ever worked with TV transmitters. Powerful ****, using TWT's. Serious pieces of hardware.

Yep, trust me, there are more sources of danger from within the equipment themselves than the actual energy they transmit.

Hahaha no need to start comparing e-penix's now, "liok my dish is bigger than yours" :/

lolol I have a high frequency exam tomorrow and my design thesis project is on antenna design... hahah! Gotta love it :( I think the topic is low cost antennas along 3 different bands. One of which contains iBurst :P

Cool. I only know RF from my playing around with it. My line of work is digital systems.

To answer a question CraigSA ? maybe and Kei - must apologise but i have noticed that alot of ppl don't read the posts and just end up repling to what they think they have read without having all the facts , I myself have done this and only realised too late what i had done. Hence the addition of the " spade" in my sig. symbolising spadework :D

Those big babie i mentioned , you could take a flourescent tube and get it to glow when near one of them.
I didnt cause any side effects that i know of.

What was i saying again ......? Who are you ....?

ICASA has a crap web site - just have a look at their 'mission statement' page.

I'm surprised the web site is not in Telkom's funky colours?
