just like any other WISP i guess. using the ISM band to make money....
running their backbone links on 2.4GHz
but you said you new at the who WISP thing....... any good for what? yeah good for stuffing up the ISM band with their omnis

No thanks - i'll rather use GPRS on my prepaid sim at R2 per MB....

I have become a new customer of the iSpot wisp. .....Eventhough they claim to be Uncapped, there is a limit to how much international data you can transfer and this is not listed in the contract.
....
my speed has dropped to 7Kbps on a transfer.

.....im so desperate I'm actually thinking of canceling the service.....

The hotspot fee is way expensive - which is why I never use them.
As for uncapped, that's what Global Wireless offered ... and then changed their minds. As you saying you're quite happy with me doing 20-40Gb a month for R245? Where do you get your bandwidth from?

they are f'n rogues!

i was better off with helkom adsl 10mbps
