Hi
I am considering getting ADSL and at the moment I have the normal dialup connection.
Is there a way I find out on average how many gigs I tranfer on my dialup system, so I can see which package to go for ie: 10gigs, 30 gigs ADSl etc.

My service provider is Mweb.
Thanks
Vaughan

Try Netmeter or BWmeter. Both are great. Netmeter is freeware.

BWmeter is shareware for 30 days, I think. It is very good and gives you hourly/daily/weekly/monthly info. You can even cap yourself if you want. Very nice proggie.

um, you can't do 10 gigs on dialup a month anyway, so just get 10gigs...

doing 3gb on dialup is impressive if you ask me.

Thanks guys

Hi
Thanks for the help guys, its appreciated. I think I will go with 10gigs, now I need to change my service provider ( mweb ) and find a cheaper service provider. ( ADSL ) Not to sure which one, but I will look at the forum.
Cheers
Vaughan

firstly drop mweb like a hot rock

for their 6 gig package you could afford a 30 gig package from allyoucaneat.co.za webafrica.co.za or axxess.co.za
