Is Wootware a reputable business?

You won't find anywhere better.

The only reason I won't buy PC stuff from them is if they don't have stock of it. I'll often times pay more for something from them just to have the peace of mind.

First time I tried them was based on the praise I read here.

If they have what I want I will buy from them, great company.

Multiple custom builds from them - zero issues.

Point of fact, on the last build they called to let me know the case was last in stock and had a small ding - (which I have been unable to locate) - and they gave a decent discount on the case.

Excellent service all round.

Thanks Chaps. I don't keep track of all the suppliers and old age is getting to me , I couldn't recall whether it was this one or eve.. that was to be wary off. MyBB search kung fu failed me hence I posted this.

Yeah, RAM is expensive, but I need a computer. the 10 year old PC running my house and everything else is becoming unreliable. I wish I could move the memory from it to a new computer - 32GB!

Its definitely evetech that you need to be wary of. You only buy there if you want no warranty or aftersales service.

Depending on how much power you need under the hood, you can always look at refurbished HP or Dell micro pc's. They offer good value for things like media/productivity pc's.

I need to replace a very tired HP Micro PC :)

Sure. They are cool. Just stay away from the company starting with an E. Ask Adam how that went.

Post a linky of what you wanna get?
Been a while since i bought anything from them, but i've never had a hassle. Has something happened recently?

Don't know. Won't touch them with a barge pole.

My last desktop pc build, majority of the parts were from Wootware.

"Is the most reputable tech business, reputable?"

Yup, it is.

Progenix is smaller, but imho just as good.
Easily the top 2 from my experience.

PS. I buy a lot more than the average joe, so not basing this on "the last PC I bought 5 years ago", but ongoing purchases of every month or two.
