Jaxx Wallet

Even at peak traffic it shouldn't take more than a few hours. Try resetting Jaxx's cache as it's sometimes a bit slow to update.

Yesterday, after purchasing BTC with luno, I transferred it to my jaxx wallet. From there I tried to shapeshift to ETH and ZEC using jaxx on my phone.
You can purchase ETH on luno.
Secondly - use changelly.com or buy altcoins direct on exchanges.

Thanks for the replies.

It is a bit bizarre. Yesterday, a few hours after making my post, the transactions couldn't be found in my history, and the BTC balance went back to the original balance (minus what would have been lost to the BTC crash). Then this morning, I saw the transactions were listed again (but still unconfirmed) and the BTC balance is now minus those transactions.

I guess, I should just assume everything is going very slowly because of the sell-off?

Ok...I did a little more research and found this article to be useful:

https://decentral.zendesk.com/hc/en...-I-have-not-yet-received-it-What-s-happening-

It seems I have two things going against me:

1. I only used "average" fees on a day when there was a big sell-off, so basically the miners have little incentive to pick up my transaction compared to others

2. I sent two transactions at once (BTC -> ETH, BTC -> ZEC), which is referred to as a double-spend and apparently inspires low confidence.

So I guess I just have to wait now. Unless....can one cancel their jaxx transaction?

There has been many problems using Shapeshift in Jaxx.

Yes. I doubt i'll use it again. I think I will rather transfer from Luno to Bittrex, then hold in Jaxx.

To answer a question from above ... yes, i've tried resetting the cache numerous times.

I understand that Jaxx has started issuing the BCH allocations this past weekend. Anybody here received theirs thus far?

You don't receive an allocation as the balance is already there. What they are doing is issuing the clients one by one but so far no sign of the windows wallet. Just install Exodus if you want to claim yours or if you prefer more direct control use Coinomi and add it using the derivation path M/44H/0H/0H

Jaxx has now updated to 1.3.7 so you should see your BCH. Will try it tonight.

I get this every so often with Jaxx. Try reset Cache and reload the wallets.

ALternatively maybe see if they are perhaps not having issues with either shapeshift or their btc wallets.
