JSE continues decline

Market has fallen 13% form 23 jul, US fed may lower rates or inject money into US economy, we will follow them, I doubt it may fall further, people are nearly always pessimistic during a fall, even at the bottom, CAE+MTN, are some of my punts.
Wait for 27500 on ASLI next week then buy.

IMO

JSE will be very green on Monday, US now positive

The Dow Jones was down more than 200 points at the JSE close, the Dow is now positive, I think Monday will see the market go much higher, I am happy that I have filled up on MTN shares and warrents.

it will be interesting to see what the net foreigner stats for the JSE will be for today. If the sell off was driven by them divesting it will be understandable.

I am bullish

JSE TOP40 has a PE of 14, the S&P has a more than 10-year low at over 20, so in my view, as very little South Africans are invested in it, it still has a long way up, with lots of cash to catch.

yeah but due to one being in a developed country and one in an EMEA, you can hardly make straightforward PE comparisons.

the sub-prime fallout will be with us for a good deal longer. Look how the federal banks of many major countries have been pumping liquidity into the market over the last few days. There is a definite fear out there! The market is going to be extremely volatile over the next few weeks. For a day trader it will be absolute bliss others might not be so lucky...

Jissis and I have a lot of money tied up in stocks with Investec...probably won't see it though.

You know the ZIM2.0, Robweni and drug problems!!!
