He provokes people then study their reactions. It's funny how worked up people can get about simple things like the internet.
Great for your own research but too my knowledge this is not the purpose of these forums. These forums are here to provide support to users of technologies that works for them.

I have connections within WBS, and I have all but sucked their cocks to get them to participate more in these forums just to raise the PERCEPTION that they're more pro-active and care about the little things (which in my opinion they do... but they also have the "idiot-factor" working there)
As most of us have connection at Vodacom or within other companies. Let's be frank and say that companies are in business to make money or else they woudn't exists. Granted bandwidth in SA is expensive but let's not kill something before it's even started. We all seem to have the all or nothing attitude about wanting everything at once. Maybe if we started motivating people to use 3G the increased usage will assist in bringing down cost as has happened with many services in the past ?
noone said:That is the attitude of most businesses, it is very rare where you get good customer service with a good product. I've ran 2 successful businesses and I'm building up a small consultancy firm who already does didata/microsoft/siebel/eskom/sanlam/absa/standard bank contracts. THEY CALL US, not because we're cheap, but because we DELIVER GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. You can have the worst product on earth (like Sentech) and if you have brilliant customer service, you can get away with murder.
This statement scares me because I would expect a more professional attitude from someone that has so much experience instead of being a jerk online ? If your attitutde online is anything like this in real life I feel really bad for your customers.

Granted it is still expensive but so was hard drive's when they first came out. Once again if more people start purchasing these services the better chance of pricing coming down. Fact is it has come down but it is easily overlooked and I am sure at even 20c / MB people will still complain because it's not free ?

Once again a scary statement because it seems that in all that time the lessons in net etique and courtesy passed you by. The impression created suits that of a bored 15 year old rather then an experienced business man ?
Yes you can see this as a personal attack but as you get frustrated with people that do "stupid" things I think that people should reflect some level of courtesy and respect to others and maybe act their "age" as such especially on a forum which will hopefully draw customers rather then chase them away ?
