well what can I say -my wii just arrived from Canada last night and boy am I impressed. To date I have owned a PS1; xbox 1; Xbox 360 and now a wii and I can confidently say that this is the most fun I have had if only because of the genius of the remote and nanchuck.
 
Heard two morons talking about the Wii yesterday. Apparently the remote works on bluetooth :D

Anyone know when|if the wii will make it here? I got some money saved up and I need to decide whether to spend it on a wii or blow it all on a birthday present for mrs chiskop.
 
MRS CHISKOP will have another birthday next year- GET THE WII!
 
Thanks for the advice. By the way, can I crash at your place when I get kicked out the house? I'll bring my wii.

The current rumour is yes it is getting released here as soon as a new distributor is awarded. August possibly..

Nu Metro where in the lead to get the licence but there has been some new companies getting involved recently.... should be announced soon.

That's what the rumours are anyway :D

does anyone know if controllers from different regions are compatible with any system. I can get another control and nanchuk from china but don't know if it will work with wii from canada?

Sorry about being picky, but the Wiimote does use bluetooth to connect to the Wii, you can even pair it with your PC and play some games using GlovePie
 
its a little prog that uses scripts for your wiimote, allowing you to play some games, control progs, etc with ur wiimote. (if they are paired via bluetooth)

just google it ;)
 
why would you need to know anything more than the fact that it has Pie in its name... pie is ALWAYS good....
