Maybe try find some of these art glass blowers in Cape Town. Surely they can assist or at least put you on the right track.

Amazon sells them, but I don't trust glass to travel so far and still be intact when it gets here.

so it turns out the pharmacy has changed hands (as mrs_ant stated)

the "bottles" / bell jars were sold by the old owner to the new owner, and now live in their diep river branch.

a suggestion was to go to the waterfront - at the clock tower area there is a shop that sells "ships in a bottle" & supplies the things needed to somehow get your motoryacht into a bottle - they seemingly would know where to obtain oversized bottles

So I find a HUGE antique bottle on BidorBuy...looks great. Great price (R550). I ask the seller about transporting it to Cape Town and he removes it from BidorBuy. WTF!!
