Latency Issue 22nd August

Any body having trouble connecting to eve, wow, or guildwars tonight? I get connected to eve, but once in its totally unplayable, everything only updates every 5 minutes....

I suspect its the start of the end month fever.

yeah probably, but it is the night after the so called "landslide" in new york (Telscum must have hired someone off the street to come up with that one) maybe the connection is still stagnant...

I suppose thats also a possibility, but call me sceptic, I dont ever expect something good from Telkom, specificly when trends tend to point to end month fever ;/

True, but i still havnt found the need to download any torrent in south africa since i got back cos i know, ill throw my laptop out of the window when i see the speeds, theres no point with the shaping..

i played WoW via nukecap last night ( 22nd ) and maybe that explains the 600-850 pings i was getting, will try again tonight just to see how the end of month fever affects nukecap's performance, thus far its been better than my nightmarish 6000+ ms ping rates i had been getting since august...
