Level 70 Farming vs Questing for gold

With the Daily quests at level 70 you can do 10 for about 100g in an hour or so? Not sure as I only do max 5 per day. Benifit from these is that you gain some rep and can get some other loot in the prosess.

If however you farm for some primals you typicaly can gain about 5-10 primals in an hour (if your lucky even more). On most servers this sells for 20g per primal so you can get 100g or more in the same hour. There is no rep bonus, but atleast you get other drops aswell.

Farming other mobs can also give you 100g per hour in selling leather or just the green and vendor drops.

Running around and collecting resources is really boring but you have to do that, or playing the AH can potentialy make you thousands if you have time to play it


So how do you go about in getting your gold? At the moment I spend an hour in the early mornings collecting primals and sell those (about 150g per day), but there is so many other people out there with elite flying mounts on each of their chars!

Last weekend, I was grinding Aldor rep in SMV, made bout 120gp in an hour, and came outta smv with 55 marks and 12 armaments

I <3 my farmbot hunter, extremely minimal downtime.

Yea guess the class you play will make a huge difference.
My hunter is also a great farm bot while my warrior have too much dead time.

Mage is my uber mana primal farmer, two shotting most of the elementals. So the drink time is not an issue

Guess the questing route is ideal for healers etc, since the daily quests seldom involve killing stuff.

Me, I shoot to Skeltis do the bombing run and the escort if its not to busy, then take the express to Blade Edge do the bombing, Simons says and the wrangling picking up any ore I see, then back to town cut a few gems for the AH and thats it, gets me between 70 and 120g a day, which covers potions and repairs cant be bothered with the rest or grinding for an Epic.

I'm slacking on the skettis rep quests atm, grinding primals is easy with a hunter... as long as ur pet has the desired resistance

Poping Misdirection on a bot (there are 2 many on LB tbh) in SMV and grabing 3 elites, then watching the bot get slaughter brings a warm feeling to my heart ^^

I lvl'd 70 in April and from questing, AH and vendor buyback and occasional blacksmith items got my epic mount last month, I then did the Netherwing rep quests (got my netherwing drake) and now get 10 daily quests to chose from which is about 126g/day

As discovered just now... all those apex shards you have and fill up your bank, exchanged 1000 for ogre brews (15 shards for 5 at a time) then sell back each 5 and made 22g.

If you do decide to quest for gold(not just the dailies) get lightheaded, it gives you the quest co-ords and useful hints.
