Yes uncapped local would be nice.
The stories you've heard about ICASA's so called uncapped local was slashed by telkom. Cause apparently ICASA's regulations were a little vague.
Since ICASA sayd local data should not count towards your initial cap.
In other words : You can have your cap, but you should not be hard-capped once you reach your initial cap. Allowing you to have local access afterwards, So basically, they cannot hardcap you once your cap is finished.
The catch is, It doesn't say anywhere that the local data after the cap must be free.
So yeah, you can have uncapped. Download as much as your want to. But yur gonna pay for each gig.
So once this is instated / done. You will have a 3gig cap or whatever.
and will be billed extra for the local data usage afterwards. (hence u won't be hardcapped *just charged per gig for extra usage*)
Its not as bad if your a low-end user, using maybe 3gigs international / 4-5gigs local after the normal cap. (Telkominternet 3gig is R250 + R99, 3gig international / 5gig local)
