I bought a DiNovo keyboard/mouse at the beginning of the year and now the mouse is giving me grief. The pointer moves very very slowly at times and comes right after a few seconds.

I can't take it any more, so would Logitech just ship me a new one if I let them know it's giving me problems? I've never really had problems with Logitech products before so can someone please tell me how the swapout procedure works with them. I know adamr contacted Logitech and they shipped him a new speaker for free so I'm hoping I can do the same and get a newer (problem-free) revision of the mouse.

Have you got the latest drivers feo? My MX1000 jittered terribly before loading the latest drivers.

if this thing is wireless then check drivers,if it has a cable check the beginning of the cable at the mouse, the wires tend to stretch and break.
what OS are you on.
what year is your drivers.
If you roll back a driver what does it do

I just downloaded SetPoint version 4.00 now and the stuttering seems to have calmed down. I hope it stays this way permanently. Are you also this version of SetPoint?

It's a bluetooth mouse. I'm on XP SP2. I've just downloaded the latest drivers and rolling back to older drivers would make it worse, not better.

Bump.

I downloaded this version of Setpoint but I actually have the DiNovo combo and it seems there's a different version of SetPoint for it. I've already downloaded the first one and it's still stuttering.

is there any device nearby that can interfere with the blue tooth signal.
The hardware might be at fault,Connect your phone via bluetooth and do some test ,like file swopping/audio...etc.

My phone's Bluetooth works flawlessly with the PC.

BUT I have the little Logitech receiver in the USB slot right next to my normal Bluetooth dongle do you think that could cause the problem? I'll try swapping ports and see if it helps. Also, my work space is quite confined so all hardware is quite bunched up, I've got my LCD, printer, router all sitting right next to each other.

Some tips:
-Run its Bluetooth dongle off a USB extension away from the PC.
-Try a matt black mouse pad. My MX1000 doesn't work on light surfaces or on most normal mouse pads. I got a black steel pad which works decently (though it's still more jittery than my old MX510).
