Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion preview

Not if you are small developer who provides a free piece of software that you will now have to pay for ($99 per year) to get people to use.

The default with be signed Apps as It is the developer preview -- turning this off invalidates the purpose for gatekeeper and AppStore only will create too much ruckus.

You've got to be joking... $99 per year? Not many developers will even flinch at this amount.

Btw nothing has been confirmed yet, wait for feedback from WWDC before making any preconceived judgements.
