Manual vs automatic – which is best?

At the moment have both types at home.
In some ways I prefer the auto, in others the manual.

Wish all cars came in auto and manual for the same price so people could just choose whichever they prefer.


I'm a new school Millennial. I literally cannot drive a manual. I know, it sounds absolutely crazy, like "Wtf. Just try harder, how hard can it be". I cannot use a clutch and focus on driving. I have tried on 4 vehicles over the course of 5 years.

It just doesn't work for me, I start off fine and then when I actually have to pay attention to the road (cars, road signs, speed, braking, signals, encountering an incline or traffic etc) it just becomes too much of a juggling act and either the car bogs down, gear changes become super jerky, or I eventually keep stalling when trying to pull off at the next stop street.

Which is crazy, because I can hop onto an F1 game and change gears, manage ERS, DRS, brake bias, engine mapping, etc all needing quick reactions and focus, which shows that my hands + brain are fine with a lot going on at once it's just my left foot that doesn't work in a similar way lol

It gives more manual control over the vehicle - AND it exercises ya hand as well!

You must be specific - it exercises the left hand. Right hand gets enough exercise playing with sticks already

Automatic wipers
Automatic lights
Cruise control
Climate control
Mirrors which fold back when off and locked
That weird wireless key thing and start button
The heads up unit with Apple Car play
Calculates you fuel efficiency and all that jazz with the km left

Still a manual transmission.
