I knew they would prove the sceptics wrong and they are hardly playing at 70% of their ability. Robinho is a wonderful player to watch, a boy wonder! Ronnie (Ronaldo) is lucky to still be starting.

Well 2 boring matches today...Ronaldo is gone too fat and he had a crap match except for partially setting up their first goal.

Watched the game over here - match started at 1am!

I thought the scoreline flattered Brazil - a 1-0 Brazil win, or a 1-1 draw would have been better. But in the end, it came down to maturity in the game - I mean every Brazilian player plays for a major European or South American club. Those guys are born into soccer - does Brazil actually bother to compete in any other sport?

What was impressive was how a nation of only 20 million people - where soccer is a distant 6th favourite sport - could field a team capable of competing with a soccer-mad country like Brazil.
After all the best atheletes have gone into rugby league, union, aussie rules, cricket and tennis, you'd think there aint many brilliant atheletes left!

It all comes down to Croatia for the Roos then...
