midnight to morning data

Well, in my case what Rooigevaar said is actually true. All of the emails correctly reflect my usage but since a day or 2 ago (maybe when I had used up all of my mid-morn data?) the website doesn't - it claims that I still have 10GB mid to morn left.

The email usage report is correct but the web site report for Midnight 2 Morning data used and data remaining is incorrectly swapped around.

Looks like my email usage report has been sorted out. I've used up the 10GB during midnight.

I'm going to leave this issue until the 1st November, hopefully it will reset and report correctly in the iBurst website.

How the hell does your upload normal usage data exceed your download data? (Question to iBurst - but its sounds very suspicious, unless you are doing major FTP uploads or using bittorrrent a helluva lot...)

I have a similar issue with the upload/download amount and figured it had to do with the migration and the uncapped anytime vas. Not sure though. Hopefully it will be sorted out tomorrow with the new month.

I checked my usage email this morning, and I apparently somehow managed to use 4gb of Midnight to Morning data between midnight and 0335. Which is quite impressive given I wasn't downloading anything, and my computer was switched off from before 0100....

I also somehow managed to use around 22mb of my anytime data, which is really impressive given it's 2 hours before that even comes into effect.

How much Anytime Data did you receive?
Anytime Data Allocated 5,120.00 MB
Anytime Data Carried Over 423.60 MB
Purchased 0.00 MB
Give-Away 22.00 MB
Total Data Received 5,565.51 MB
Anytime Data
Uploaded 4.10 MB
Downloaded 17.80 MB
Total Anytime Data Used 21.91 MB

Total Anytime Data Remaining 5,543.60 MB
Midnight 2 Morning Data
Midnight 2 Morning Allocated 12,800.00 MB
Midnight 2 Morning Used 4,601.86 MB
Total Midnight 2 Morning Data Remaining 8,198.14 MB

Well today MY midnight to morning data is a total mess - it shows I have a negative amount left over (and I'm on the VAS so it shouldn't move AT ALL!!). But even if it should reflect anything there is no ways I could have used my 5GB overnight particularly since there was some form of interruption overnight which resulted in NONE of my downloads completing anyway!
AND what data I did use seems to have come off my anytime because my Anytime data is less 791MB (considering the report was sent at 4:21 AM on 1st of the month this clearly does not could as "normal hours" usage..!!
Today I can't log into the website - perhaps that means they are trying to sort it out....?

Getting 24Mbps throughput on my 1Mbps IBURST modem

WOW, Iburst is the best....

Just confirmed this morning after receiving my usage report...

As at 2011-NOV-01 03:35:03, your iBurst account esitoli@*****.co.za reflects the following:
Midnight 2 Morning Allocated 40,960.00 MB
Midnight 2 Morning Used 38,750.08 MB
Total Midnight 2 Morning Data Remaining 2,209.92 MB

Thats 38,750MB of data in 3.35 hours or rather 310,000Mbit in 12900 seconds giving me an average thoughput of 24.03Mbps.

And the best of all is that I didnt even need to do any downloads to achieve the throughput.
Stand aside LTE, here comes iBurst ...:wtf:

Hi Divv,
We are busy checking Mid2Mor data allocation.
I'll update soon with our finding.

Hi There,
The midnight 2 morning data allocation at the beginning of the month was incorrect.
iBurst support system team is busy fixing the problem.
The Midnight 2 Morning will be reset in the next couple of hours.

Thanks Remot.
For the record - since I have the VAS, I don't particularly care WHAT the reading shows SO LONG as my anytime data is not affected!!
Having said that it would be really nice if Iburst could go back to reflecting the data used under the VAS (as they did before the Supersize) - it would help VAS users decide if it worth their while having the service it or not.
And while we're at it - can you please sort out the interruptions that mess up my downloads? It used to happen around 06:20 every morning now they seem to be happening at strange times in the middle of the night as well - I keep waking to find nothing has downloaded because my downloads get interrupted!!! (Now 4 nights in a row...)

PS - don't forget the back-handed "compliment" Iburst received from Tandor (post 30 of this thread).

Let's continue the conversation privately and if we find it is relevant to the rest of the subscribers we will log a seperate thread.

I just checked my usage report on the website, and it's still reflecting I used over 4gb of data in under an hour, even though all I was doing at the time was some web-browsing. Are the support team still busy with this issue?

I reported this issue at 4:45am this morning. My account still shows that I've used 172GIG last night, which effectively cuts my iBurst connection between 12am-8am. Why would it take so long to sort this out?! 172gig in less than 5 hours, imagine that. I don't even think that would be possible if I had a direct microwave link to iBurst.
Might just have to go the consumer protection route if this is not sorted out today.

[Edit] This has all been sorted out now, thank you.
