If I wanted to sign up for the N955 deal on MTN ProCall 120 and in 4 months time move over to a ProCall 220 there wont be any costs involved with that migration right?

correct!
as long as migration is UPWARDS its free...
if DOWNWARDS then u pay...so its always better to sign on lowest option and then upgrade if needed and then you can re downgrade if u need to again > at no cost...

note a good option to upgrade to later is Procall 150 as that is a persecond contract
