Mintek (Tower 12) up and down

Anyone else having problems with Mintek acting like a yo-yo? Been up and down all morning...

Tower: Mintek (12) - Signal: 19% - 256k - Smoothwall and PPPoE
 
Not just Mintek, aparently sentech are messing with the towers again.

Yip, Mintek down for 'maintenance' since 12:00 last night, and doing the yo-yo thing (just to confirm). Let's see whether I can stay up for longer than 3 minutes this time...

Passif my signal died @ 23h29 exactly......

And smoothwall has been crying every five minutes!!!!
 
so what else is new? Mintek is always dodgy!

it was doing the wobbly this morning... dropped to 1 bar signal, went away completely. it's back at three bars now...

Ping times on Mintek seems better or is itmy imagination ? Speeds will always be up and down I guess!

Latency kicked arse around 3pm but then things slowly but surely climbed back to the mid 400ms times again.

Not only that but NOW it seems that the latency spikes even higher than before - packet loss might be a tad better....

I hope this is PART of a bigger fix - if not ... this is NOT good.

Yea, Mintek is going up and down like a rabbit on crack today.
The times when it is up my speeds seem to be better though. If only it would stay up for longer than 30 mins I might be able to finish a download.

Hear, hear Bishop. I have been trying to check out 15 orders on a buying site and in the last 90 mins have managed 3. At this rate the enquiries will lapse before I can see them.
I didn't get MyWireless to download the internet, just for EMails, two buying sites and occasional web searches. It seems that even this is beyond it.
 
Average og 679ms ping to Google ... now that's what I call Broadband !!!
