The Nokia 6630 automatically downloads SMS, MMS and GPRS settings from the network. The problem I'm having is my phone keeps sending blank MMS's to nowhere in particular. If I delete the settings and send the MTN ICE settings to my phone, the problem disappears. I've scanned the phone for virus's but it comes out clean. Any ideas??

I have also been having problems with setting up mms on the 6630. Still no luck, hoping it might just be a firmware issue. My messages stay in the outbox and never get sent. Any suggestions?

have you guys got your mms access point configured seperatly or are you useing a gprs access point to send mms?

I'm using a setting called "mtnmmsproxy". can't remember where I got that from, just know the other settings that came standard don't work so well. even gprs for wap access gave a prob.

Sounds like a handset software issue. Ask your SP to have a look at it.
Also, highly unlikely that you'd have received a virus via MMS, as that is dealt with within the network.

no its not , the symbian structure is in 3 parts, you have your core system, the manages libraries and they are all stored in a read only drive, then you have your user interface its written by nokia in this case and then you have the applications that come with the phone firmware, you cant put apps on with out the user interface and cant put the user interface without the libs, its a perfect system so theres no way it is a firmware issue. Symbian invented thier 'perfect circle' system for that very reason
