Modem Rental

Hi Guys

This seems like a long shot - but, has anybody found a way to rent an iBurst modem, rather than an outright purchase.

With the telecoms environment due for change shortly (holding thumbs for DOC March announcement), I simply can't justify paying R2500 for a modem which cannot be used elsewhere considering the industry might be in for a big change(crossing toes too now).

maybe try contacting the iBurst suppliers, they might be willing to, or might point you in the right direction.

But you would like some 'rental company' to fork out the cost price and then rent it to you without any guarantee that you will keep it for more than one month. Does it make business sense to you? It doesn't to me.

Chances are that they will rent it out more than once - wouldnt you say...
